Our journey began in 2023 when I finally convinced my husband to get a small flock of chickens for our backyard. We had so much fun getting started, and it became a real bonding experience for us and our children!

I have a passion for animals and agriculture, and I really wanted to find a way of turning that passion into a way of life, rather than a career. My husband and I realized that if that was going to work out, we would need to get creative and do as much for ourselves as possible. Our dream of homesteading was born from there, and ever since we have been learning all the ways we can best use our land now until we build our off-grid paradise.

We have found a unique advantage in our pursuits, and that is the amount of projects we enjoy at home with our 4 kiddos. As we explore the many ways we can utilize our own and other locally produced products, we have been able to find ways to share these little blessings with everyone else, and we are so excited to open up this chapter in our lives!
